Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
This policy explains how Home Gmail Assistant ("the app"), operated by UpNorth Networks, accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data.
Data we access
With your permission, granted through Google's OAuth consent screen, the app may access:
- Your Google account email address and basic profile information.
- Gmail messages, threads, labels, and drafts, limited to the scopes you approve.
How we use it
Google user data is used only to provide the features you request, such as searching, reading, summarizing, labeling, drafting, or sending email. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Storage and security
OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only to call Google APIs on your behalf. Email content is processed transiently to fulfill your request and is not stored on our servers beyond what is needed to complete it. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties, except as needed to provide the app's features at your direction, to comply with law, or with your explicit consent.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Home Gmail Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
You can revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete any data associated with your account, contact us at the address below.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
